A sunny day with plenty of shiny sheet metal. On this hour of Cruise Control we'll take you to two of the biggest car events of the year the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Pebble Beach Courcor D'Elegance.

More than fifty years ago, General Motors’ 
traveling Motorama showcased dramatic concept “Dream Cars” as interpretations of future automobile design. Today it will once again be shown in all its glory at the Pebble Beach Courcors D'Elegance. GM design Historian Brian Baker will be our guide.
And then we are off to the 14th annual Woodward Dream Cruise where we will hear from Cruise Grand Marshall Troy Trepanier owner of Rad Rides by Troy. He is one of the most accomplished and busiest custom car designers builder racer. He's got alot of irons in thefire and we are going to hear about all of them.

'There's just a few weeks of Summer left but there's no shortage of car culture events and today on Cruise Control we are bringing in guests from across the country to fill you on the latest information.
But first we'll take look at whats been going on in Traverse City Michigan.. Its called the 2008 Management Briefing Seminars. A bland boring name for a big confab of Auto Executives.
But there was plenty of new model information, high tech predictions and even a little bit of sniping between manufacturers.
Then its off to Michigan International Speedway for the Carfax 250.. Larry gah-MOSH will tell
us about how Carfax neutralized carbon emissions for the event, plus some of the latest issues used car buyers should be concerned with.
Next we are off the 14th annual Woodward Dream Cruise where Mopars Sunil Lahoti will give us the goods on the Challenger factory Drag Car. A true quarter mile drag car you can buy direct from the factory.
Plus He'll stick around and fill us in on Chryslers Uconnect system that brings the web to your car or truck
